Matthew began his photography career at the age of nine when he first stole his mother’s camera and effortlessly wasted her film. His parents loved to travel so he soon found himself wandering deeper and deeper through foreign cities as the years went by. After receiving a dual degree in Political Science and Photography from UCSD, Matthew put his education to work as a photojournalist and general freelancer. He often shoots with larger format films and values experimentation above expectations. He is currently pursing his other life passion at Berklee College of Music where he studies Contemporary Writing and Production.
