Gaze for DaysAssorted ConfusionMagdalene Coleman grew up in Boxford, MA and attended Masconomet Regional High School in Topsfield, MA. The art department at Masconomet was absolutely fantastic. My teachers believed in my artistic ability in more ways than anyone had before, that is, except for, my grandfather. Although he passed when I was only eleven years old, he urged me to keep creating and assured me that one day it would define me. I attended Montserrat College of Art in Beverly where these paintings were created.
