FUSION Magazine Student Creative Nonfiction Contest: Stories Based on Real Life

 

FUSION Magazine: Global Art, Words, and Music is proud to announce a Student Creative Nonfiction contest. We’re looking for writing that is vital, ripe and engaging. Writing that pushes past or against literary or life’s boundaries, plays with style and form, and makes its own rules. Our commitment is to publish the best literary writing, regardless of subject matter or theme. And, as always, all Creative Nonfiction submission must be based in fact. Three CNF winners will receive Amazon or iTunes gift cards in the amount of:

First Prize – $75

Second Prize – $50

Third Prize – $25

The winner’s stories will be published as part of a special feature in FUSION Magazine. All entries (not just the three winning stories) will be considered for publication in FUSION.

Submission Guidelines

– Submissions should not exceed 4,000 words (see submission guidelines).
– All submissions are due October 15, 2015. Winners will be announced on Nov 15, 2015
– Jennifer Andrews, Assistant Professor of Writing and FUSION Editorial Board Member, will judge the contest.
